Day 1: Mess Hall at 6:30 PM
Where: Mess Hall

When: 6:30 PM

Who: All

He wasn't a very good cook, actually he could basically cook two things without burning them. However, he just didn't have a choice since from what he heard about the new crew none specialized in cooking. All of them were interesting though, and would probably be useful. And would probably avoid him like the plague. He thought back to the previous crew. He supposed he just wasn't very approachable. He sat in one of the chairs so he could look out into the main part of the mess hall.

Andrej turned around from where he was standing, rummaging through the refrigerator to find appropriate salad fixings. He couldn't help but blush just slightly, the man did look impressive. Presuming him to be the captain, he put on his best "being proffessional on the job" look.

[OOC: yes, Linnard had to leave unexpectedly. I was talking to her on MSN and was asked to deliver the message and her apologies.]

Seren looked up from where he was sitting, unsure about what ship etiquette was when a captain came in. For the moment, he settled on giving the man his complete attention.

Teivel gave the captain an annoyed look. "And just where did you run off to for hours?" He gave him a very accusing look along with a glare. He was grouchy, and he was going to make that very clear to the captain. Why? Because he could.

Leroy went from impressive to cowering.

"R-respect your superiors!"

He paused and coughed, resuming a professional aire.

"Is this is for the crew? Do we know if we're going to pick up any new members here or can we get out of here?" he asked all this to Teivel, then without waiting, turned to the crew.

"My name is Leroy Brennus and I will be your captain. I expect my orders to be followed promptly," he said, authoritative now, "I understand that most of you have rough or rowdy pasts. A lot of you may be running. I don't honestly care. Just know, as long as your on this ship and you do your job, you'll be protected." He smiled, almost seeming kind for a moment. "I don't let one of my own go without a fight."

Then suddenly, his captain's aire was gone. "Jeez, Tevel, don't we have dinner yet?"
